Satoshi TakeishiSatoshi Takeishi
Satoshi Takeishi, drummer, percussionist, and arranger is a native of Mito, Japan. While at Berklee he developed an interest in the music of South America and went to live in Colombia following the invitation of a friend. He spent four years there and forged many musical and personal relationships. His interest expanded to the rhythms and melodies of the Middle East where he studied and performed with Armenian-American oud master Joe Zeytoonian. Since moving to New York in 1991 he has performed and recorded in vast variety of genre, from world music, jazz, contemporary classical music to experimental electronic music.Satoshi Takeishi, drummer, percussionist, and arranger is a native of Mito, Japan. OPUS - Ruttmann/Dissonanzen/Del Monaco
Cento anni fa usciva il primo dei quattro cortometraggi di “Opus”, la serie di opere astratte firmate tra il 1921 e il 1925 da uno dei maggiori esponenti del cinema d’avanguardia tedesco, il regista Walter Ruttmann. L’anniversario è celebrato con un’inedita sonorizzazione dal vivo dei quattro film, della durata complessiva di 50 minuti. La partitura è di Daniele Del Monaco ed è stata scritta appositamente per l’ensemble Dissonanzen, non nuovo a progetti di sonorizzazione “live” di opere cinematografiche.
