Born in Naples (Italy), Marco Cappelli studied at the Conservatorio di S. Cecilia in Rome (Italy) and then at the Musik Akademie in Basel (Switzerland) in the Konzert-Klasse directed by Oscar Ghiglia.
He has lead since the middle 90ies an extraordinary artistic path, becoming familiar both with rigorous written music as well with free improvisation languages.

Saxophone player, clarinetist, composer, Gabriele Coen first studied music at the Scuola di Musica Popolare in Rome’s Testaccio quarter. Next, he frequented several seminars at Siena Jazz and frequently interacted with important saxophone players (Steve Lacy, Dave Liebman) to finally complete his studies with a degree in Political Science and a diploma in saxophone from the Morlacchi Conservatory of Perugia.

Former BBC New Generation Artist, and participant in Take Five Europe, the work of trumpeter, flügelhornist and composer Tom Arthurs situates itself between large scale commissions for orchestra and beyond, rich and intimate chamber jazz, and experimental, beautiful and intriguing improvised music.
