Gianfranco Tedeschi

Holder of a diploma in double bass under the supervision of G. Pani. He has studied music analysis and composition with B. Porena and orchestral arrangement with G. Gazzani. He has also attended M. Scardovelli’s courses in music therapy. He has produced pieces for theatre and dance for performances which took part in the most important International Festivals.

For what concerns the theatre he works mainly with the director Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, while for the world of dance he has worked with Adriana Borriello. He has also collaborated with the Blu Company and with Rachele Caputo in some workshops dedicated to improvisation.
He has worked with many musicians from Holland, Germany, United States and Italy (L. Smith, L. Ochs, A. Baars, I. Hennemann, W. Fuchs, M. Schiano, G, Schiaffini, E. Colombo, S. Tramontana, M. Coen and more). During the past few years he has mainly focused on contemporary music (Cage, Scelsi, Porena, Guaccero, Cardew) as well as on radical improvisation and has taken part in numerous reviews and festivals.
