Mande Djara

The project, in brief

A modern scenic installation, a multiethnic company (Ivory Coast, Senegal, Iran, Italy) composed of actors, singers, and dancers, and a group of musicians in electroacoustic formation,

which through a theatrical environment tells the story of Sogolon the ugly and the son Sunjata.

One of the more interesting myths of Western Africa is told through the universal language of dance, music, and pictures.

A pantomine. A suggestive story.
